Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most

Everything you need to know about living in a Valdura home — how it works, what income we accept, and how to get started.

Housing and eligibility

What does Valdura Capital LLC offer?

We offer beds in shared residential homes. Residents have their own rented bed and share certain rooms and household spaces with other residents.

Who can apply?

People seeking shared housing can submit an inquiry. Applications are reviewed using consistent rental criteria, including the ability to meet the rent and follow the rental agreement.

What does “independent living” mean here?

Residents manage their own daily lives. Valdura Capital LLC provides housing only. We do not provide personal care, medical services, or supervision. Residents may arrange outside services independently.

How do you maintain a safe and respectful home?

Our homes have written house rules covering shared spaces, visitors, cleanliness, and consideration for other residents. We also use 24/7 video surveillance in indoor common areas and outside the home. Cameras are not placed in bedrooms or bathrooms.

Rent and payment

What types of income do you accept?

We look for verifiable, recurring income, including Social Security retirement, SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, and pensions. A documented third-party sponsor may also be considered. We review the actual income amount and payment arrangement; receiving benefits does not guarantee rent will be paid.

Can a family member or organization sponsor my rent?

A sponsor may be considered. Before move-in, we need a written agreement identifying who will pay, the amount, the payment schedule, and how long the commitment lasts.

Do you accept housing vouchers or program payments?

Ask us about the specific program before applying. Acceptance depends on whether that program permits the shared-bedroom arrangement and approves the property.

Do you offer short-term or long-term rentals?

Yes. We offer both short-term and long-term rentals.
